How urgent the alert is, set per rule across four levels. Critical - money or serving is directly affected right now (setting changes, runaway spend, account dark, stopped serving, broken tracking). High - act soon (disapprovals, access changes, manager links, CPA spikes, negative conflicts). Medium - worth reviewing (CTR collapse, budget-limited, IS drop, geo leak). Low - informational cleanup (ad strength, keyword can't win, weak assets).
Severity roughly tracks the tiers - every Critical rule is Interrupt - but not perfectly: a pending invite is a medium Interrupt, and a negative conflict is a high-severity Hygiene finding.
Clicking the acknowledgement chip marks an alert as seen and handled, moving it out of the unacknowledged pile. It's how you and your team keep track of what's been dealt with - a clean shared workflow so nothing slips through the cracks, and nobody duplicates a fix someone else already made.
