Client settings are the defaults every campaign inherits. Getting them right once is what makes recommendations fit a client out of the box.
Targets: default target CPA and target ROAS (see Targets: CPA and ROAS).
Brand handling: Protect, Negate or Neutral, plus your brand terms (see Brand handling & service areas).
Service area: the locations a client actually serves, so out-of-area searches can be flagged and local ones protected.
Flag for negative: words to watch as negative candidates. The default list is deliberately tight and cross-vertical; ambiguous service words are opt-in, because a word that's junk for one business is core revenue for another.
On the Dashboard, click the settings cog next to the client's name.
Fill in targets, brand handling and brand terms, service area, and any flagged words.
Save - campaigns inherit these immediately.
